Hard to say, since a time frame isn’t mentioned in the question – how many times do I check myself out in a day? a week? an hour?
To be honest, I’ve been checking myself out many, many times every day lately, but it’s only because I’ve been losing weight, and it’s been at least 20 years since I’ve weighed what I weigh now, and I’ve been amazing myself with my own transformation, . When I’m not in a weight-loss mode, it’s usually much less frequently, only a couple of times a day.
It’s great that you like who looks back at you!
I don’t check myself out that often, but people look at me very strangely because of WHAT I use for a mirror. I am pale, pale, pale, and I often use my time on the Metro to slap on another layer of sunscreen before extended sun exposure or after I’ve been sweating a bit (for example, before and after softball games), and use the window as a mirror to make sure there are no big blobs of sunscreen on my face/neck/ears. That’s not THAT weird, right?
Glad you’re using sunscreen. It sounds resourceful.
lately not much. last weekend a stranger on the street said something awful about my appearance at a time when I was feeling confident, and I’ve been avoiding the mirror since.
Banish that stranger. Stay on the path of your inner truth and confidence.
