I did a cool solstice thing on Friday. There was an evening hike, via Meetup. It started from the NY side of the George Washington Bridge. We walked over the Bridge then hiked north into Palisades Park for about 4 miles, heading north. Lush greenery, cicada carcasses, and a gorgeous almost full moon accompanied us down to the water’s edge. We then walked back along the Hudson, with the GWB glistening and the skyline rising. A 300 step hike up to the bridge gave us a final sweat as we hiked back to NYC. Great night.
