I normally never watch the Oscars (why should I – it gets rehashed over and over for several days afterward!) But this year is different – I have a relative that worked on one of the nominated films – he wasn’t one of the principals behind it, but he did get a screen credit, so we (his family) are pretty excited about that.
I love the Oscars, even though they disappoint me every year.
I agree with the rehash part. Why sit through a long laborious ceremony when it is rehashed for days afterwards. I like see the dresses though
Oscar night is a sort of holy night for me. I wouldn’t miss it. But I always savor it with friends and good food. And these days, I couldn’t imagine watching the Oscars without being able to fast forward.
