Another Upside to Chocolate

Aaron Byrd.New York Times

Exciting news. According to a new study, there’s an antioxidant in chocolate that has been found to improve memory loss. I might have to dig into the bag of Halloween treats. What’s your favorite?

My favorite Halloween candy will usually those mini Snickers bars and the mini Twix bars. Oh, and Reese Peanut Butter cups are always welcome in my home.

I have a special fondness for Three Musketeers minis. And, like Latarsha, mini Snickers.

    Reese’s peanut butter cups FTW.

  4. Meg says:

I think that I like candy corn the best, especially since it’s something that only comes around this time of year. great news about the chocolate helping with memory loss!

As far as traditional Halloween candy goes, I’ve always been partial to Hershey’s miniatures, especially the little Special Dark bars.

But in my “old” age (late 40’s) and with the fact that I never had children, I’ve not eaten much Halloween candy in years. Right now, I’m savoring a Ghiradelli 60% Cacao square instead, 😉
