We survived. Happy V-Day!
Yay! Because I have a fairly flexible schedule on Tuesdays, I decided to set up an appointment to donate platelets on Valentine’s Day. I thought it would be a wonderful way to celebrate a love for others. I’ve donated a few times in the past (apparently, I have really great platelets, so they ask me fairly regularly–however, it’s a three-hour process and their hours don’t seem to match my work schedule, so I can only do it every few months). Anyway, I felt really great about knowing that I have helped some leukemia patients.
That’s an amazing way to share love. Thanks, Petra.
