Comic by Hallie Bateman
The last one surprised me, it was on a such a roll!
Surprise you in what way?
Not lasting forever, I know it does not truly last forever but it was like a slap of cold reality.
But I find that extremely comforting.
I had to read it a few times, but I found it comforting too.
It means the pain and frustration over any one thing won’t last forever, too.
Leyla, I like your reasoning. That IS comforting.
Now, that’s a perspective I hadn’t thought of.
Leyla, I’t similar to how Buddhists say that all emotions rise and fall, nothing stays the same for long.
This too shall pass…
I saw it as a reminder to appreciate every moment.
This is fantastic!!
It’s a great reference point. And just in time for strawberry season.
Oh, Wendy, I love this! Step 4 especially–I never knew strawberries could combat my inner cynical jerk. I’ll be buying a box shortly!
Strawberries give me severe heartburn :-(.
I understand apples work, too. And dark chocolate.
And Petra, of course there’s cheese.
Oh, I’m sorry.
I love strawberries. We’ll be seeing them soon in Southern California.
