Absolutely! There is something very comforting to know that there is a happy ending (esp. in this troubled world right now!)

Yes! I think I read somewhere recently too that re watching favorite movies or TV shows make us happy because we enjoy watching it but also the anticipation of knowing ahead of time we will enjoy it adds to the happiness. This is what I should have done last night when I was tired and eating take out instead of landing on law and order and hate watching (I hate it b/c they violate every single rule in the book of criminal procedure and evidence!)

Yes!! I find it so comforting and also it allows room to breath. Sometimes I don’t want to be ALL the way into a movie. I want to watch something good (ie, don’t just want to turn the TV to something terrible) but I also may stop mid-point to do laundry, sort mail, etc and I hate doing that with something I haven’t seen. Although, I’ve also been known to watch a movie completely entranced even though its the hundredth time I’ve watched it.

I have lots of movies I can watch a gazillion times and never get tired of them. These include: 84 Charing Cross Road, The Holiday, Frankie and Johnny, Casablanca, The Godfather, The Wizard of Oz, the miniseries LONESOME DOVE…just to name a few…

Yes i do. Many movies worth watching more than once.
    Such as interstellar.

I can’t recall all the movies i have rewatched, but i do it from time to time and i am enjoying it.

Instellar is a good movie to watch again. It’s so complicated that it’s hard to grasp the first time.
