Right now in L.A, it’s 90 degrees, and I feel like I’m melting. As a kid in NYC, the best part of a hot summer’s day was the tinkly bell announcing the arrival of the Good Humor Ice Cream truck. All the children on the block flocked into the middle of the street and lined up waiting for our treat. My favorite was a vanilla pop topped with red and white sprinkles, reminiscent of this photo by Simone Rosenbauer [1].
