Holiday Season Creep

It was a few weeks ago that I first noticed Halloween candy and decorations taking up space in the stores. It sent a slight shiver through my body. Halloween begets Thanksgiving which begets Christmas which begets New Years. And then I tell myself, be here now. It’s barely mid-October.

I love this embroidery! I’ve been trying to do embroidery this year for fun and relaxation.

I will never be used to seeing Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas decorations side by side in the store–which I saw just today. It ends up burning me out by Thanksgiving.

I love the embroidery as well! Hate the holiday overload. Would love to skip to a lobster New Year’s Eve celebration but breathing into the here and now is much more realistic and satisfying.
