I know so many people who don’t like talking on the phone. These are people who don’t even like talking on the phone to a friend or family member. It’s like people have gotten so scared of normal human interaction! I find phone calls are so much more productive both personally and professionally. Too much can get misinterpreted in text.

It’s so interesting the way the general relationship to phone calls have evolved (or devolved) over the last 10 years. I’m very comfortable on the phone. In fact, I do all my Career Coaching sessions with clients that way.

It’s strange. I was painfully shy as a kid and have grown mostly out of it. I think I must gravitate toward introverts as I fall slightly on that side of the scale. I find I get really frustrated with so many of my friends who tend to hole up alone at home a lot when I want some social interaction! It’s one of the few things that make me think I should try dating. :/

My initial reaction is to cringe whenever my phone rings. Though this is probably an introvert thing.
