This morning, I tweaked my back in ballet class and I’m a little hobbled. Right now, getting out of my chair (or more aptly off the couch), takes a lot more effort. Despite the discomfort, I’m trying to use it as a teachable moment for what I take for granted. This New Yorker cartoon from Leo Cullum cheered me up.
Oh I’m sorry you don’t feel well. But you know I can relate!!!. I hope it’s better by now.
Thanks, Lisa. And yes, I thought of you. Last week was rough. It was pretty painful. I had to figure out a lot of work arounds, particularly walking the dog. But yesterday, I dragged myself to ballet class, and that actually felt good. I wasn’t able to do everything, but I feel like I’m on the mend.
