Weeknight Resolution*: Keep one ghost around, namely that of Julia Child.
Wednesday, August 15 is her 106th birthday! I know you like to cook, Wendy, so why not cook something in her memory? I’m going to make something (not sure what yet, though probably not one of her recipes) and I’m going to imagine that she is at my side, helping and grinning and infusing whatever it is with her characteristic joie de vivre!
Great idea! Once, I did make her famous Boeuf Bourguignon, and it took days of prep. Definitely worth it.
