Yesterday was the 50th anniversary of the publication of Mario Puzo’s book, The Godfather. To mark the date, there have been a lot of media stories about the epic novel. But this one on NPR is my favorite, a beautiful example of how art changes lives. Don’t miss it!

YES! I listened to this over the weekend and found it so very interesting. I really wanted to go back and watch the movie (it was on Netflix but when I went to search for it it was no longer available) I would love to read the book…maybe I will move it to the top of my list vs the bottom.
It’s such an inspiring story! It made me well up with tears!
