Brain Drain

For as long as I can remember, people have been telling me I think too much. And I never quite know what they mean. (See, right there, I’m overthinking.) Can you relate? One of my role models was a woman named Betty, who died a few years ago at 88. She seemed to float a few inches above the usual turmoil of life, always smiling, taking things in stride. I could use more Betty.

Yes. I recently took the Enneagram and I’m one of the types who’s in her head a lot.

I guess this is just a way I’m disposed to being. One of my favorite “activities” is sitting in a coffee shop and reading, or more often just sitting and thinking! LOL.

But I kind of need to fight against it, too. I’m not inclined to reach out to people, but since that can lead to isolation I look for ways to bring people into my life. Need to work on that more, too.
