The herb gardening has begun, so that gets some of my adult time. I put dill, rosemary, and mint in containers, and will do the same with basil next week. Put some parsley and tarragon in the raised bed. Thyme, sage, and chives have returned.
This year I’m going to try to grow green beans and red cabbage in big containers. We’ll see how that goes!
Apologies for the ignorant question – how does red cabbage grow?
I’ll find out! I was buying some basil plants and saw a 6-pack of red cabbage starts for sale (and on sale) that read “great in containers”. So I’ll put a few of them in bigger containers and see how it goes!
I can’t quite visualize how cabbage grows. I’m intrigued.
