It’s been a grayish, chilly day in L.A., and I’m huddled in a hoodie with Uggs. But I hear elsewhere, the weather is brilliant. What’s it like where you live?
Outside Philly it was low 70s and sunny. Beautiful day. Today we are to get some of the storm system that’s hit the south and Midwest. Not looking forward to it but
might be chance to curl up and read!
Well, this weather pattern is leading to a lot of unsettled weather here in the middle of the country. On Memorial Day, I was fortunate to get enough sunshine for a 30+ mile bike ride (about 10 miles longer than I’d planned). That evening, the tornado sirens went off three times and I was in my powder room, waiting it out (I am in the area of the eastern Indiana/western Ohio outbreak). Funnel cloud spotted in my county, but the actual tornadoes were 30 miles to the south and the north. I am ready for some calm!

We had such a lovely cool spring that I was lulled into false complacency. Now highs are 90+ and will be for the foreseeable future. Sigh.
That’s hot! It’s still unseasonably cool here, which makes for great sleeping weather. Thanks for the nudge that I should feel grateful about it.

I don’t know about tornado sirens. Tell me more. And stay safe!!
