I recall my mother (now 87) telling me that she is always surprised to see herself in the mirror. She said it’s because there is an old lady looking back at her, and in her mind’s eye, she is much, much younger.
I try to embrace the changes, and it helps to not have pictures of the 22 year old me around to remind me what great skin I had. But I too, check my teeth!
Opposite! I’m embarrassed to say that I’m always checking to see if I have food in my teeth, or other calamities.
I have a little mirror propped up under my computer monitor for that reason!
How often do you check it out?
Checking to see if you have food in your mouth is a wise choice.
