The other day, I peered into my medicine cabinet and couldn’t believe how many things needed to be thrown out. I didn’t toss anything, but I thought about it. And in the end, I was glad to have the space all to myself.
This post motivated me to start cleaning out my freezer–and to be more judicious and intentional with respect to buying food! I realize that I’ve contributed to food waste (which in turn contributes to climate change), so I’ll now be more careful not to overbuy.
But the medicine cabinet may be a weekend project!
Last year, our building had to get sprayed for termites and we had to double bag all the food in our fridge and freezer. I threw out a ton of stuff. It was very liberating.

Oh, and I DO love having all of the medicine cabinet space!
Another upside of single!
