Just toilet paper! Seriously, I do have food, but I try to keep enough in the house to last me a month or two–dried beans, canned tomatoes, nuts/nut butters, that sort of thing. That predates the whole coronavirus story. I once was without power for almost a week (ice storm), so having some ready-to-eat food makes me feel a little more prepared (yes, I realize that the beans have to be cooked).
That said, I take precautions (hand washing) but I’m not panicked. Despite the stories about stores running out of hand sanitizer, that hasn’t been the case in my corner of the Midwest.
I always have lots of toilet paper on hand, even without a crisis. But I am thinking about getting more canned foods in the house. And you’re right, I hadn’t thought about having ready-to-eat food well stocked.
We are currently on a cruise, today I am in Freeport. I have to say I doubt I will cruise again I manage to get sick every time so this is my last one. I can’t wait to get home on Sunday.
As far as stockpiling I might pick up some extra food items when I get home, just in case.
Thanks Wendy, we are home but I still feel funky! This trip was the last nail in the coffin for me and traveling. Beyond going to the beach and my usual haunts I know travel and me don’t work, and I love being home!

I also stocked up on two months worth of cat food and litter. Be sure to take care of YOUR baby, too!
I bought 2 big bags today.
