1. Wash your hands, or shove them in your pocket.
2. Drink plenty of liquids. (Alcohol doesn’t count.)
3. Get enough sleep.
4. Get a flu shot, or make the person you spend the most time with get one.
5. Have ready access to chicken soup.
6. Gargle with salt water to relieve cold/flu symptoms.
7. Stay away from antibiotics unless you’ve developed a bacterial infection.
8. Exercise. It helps boost your immune system.
9. Keep your lipstick to yourself. (Especially Napolean Perdis, now available at Target)
10. Avoid crowds, handing you an excuse for that party you don’t want to go to. Or, see #1-9.
