Don’t Share Lipstick, and other Cold/Flu Season Tips

[1]1.  Wash your hands, or shove them in your pocket.
2.  Drink plenty of liquids. (Alcohol doesn’t count.)
3.  Get enough sleep.
4.  Get a flu shot, or make the person you spend the most time with get one.
5.  Have ready access to chicken soup [2].
6.  Gargle [3] with salt water to relieve cold/flu symptoms.
7.  Stay away from antibiotics unless you’ve developed a bacterial infection.
8.  Exercise. It helps boost your immune system.
9. Keep your lipstick to yourself. (Especially Napolean Perdis [4], now available at Target)
10. Avoid crowds, handing you an excuse for that party you don’t want to go to. Or, see #1-9.
