At 2 AM this morning, I woke up with an idea for my 2013 New Year’s resolution. Drink more water. Even at that groggy hour, I knew it was perfect, just vague enough to give me a shot at accomplishing the goal. All I need to do is “more.” I love the Kierkegaard quote above because it’s not tied to outcome. It’s fluid and hopeful. Thanks to all of you for being a rich and hopeful part of my 2012. For the New Year, I wish you an ongoing sense of the potential.

I love this quote! Happy 2013 and best of luck. 🙂
My potential is tied to my relinquishing the illusion that I am in control, so to expand my potential–indeed, to get me to even see the vastness of possibility–I must let go. And that, along with some goal-oriented resolutions such as “cook a rib roast” or “learn to meditate”, is going to be a theme for 2013.
And perhaps “drink more water” 😉
I had an extra glass of water today. And I’m already feeling better about myself.
Drinking more water is always a good idea and a pleasurable one at that!
My resolution is to become a regular in my yoga class.Again, good for me, easily done, and pleasurable!
I was in ballet class this morning, and then, I drank some water. Win win.
