Wresting with Technology
Sorely in need of a new computer, I finally took the leap on Black Friday when Apple was having their annual event. Though helpless with a hammer, I’m adept with technology and was confident about setting things up. Step one was transferring the files from my old Mac, which turned out to be more complicated than I anticipated. 2 days of tech support later, I was no closer to my goal than when I began. Today I realized the work around. Who needs all those old files anyway? Now, my new computer’s up and running and it feels fresh and clean.

For now, I’m switching back and forth between computers, and it’s taking forever. But I’m hoping things will get sorted out by next week and I’ll be able to enjoy my shiny new object.
Congrats! Love a new computer. What did you buy? I’m very indecisive about technology so am always interested in what others choose and why. And you’re always surefooted with your purchases.
iMac, which is what I had before. I thought about it a lot, and decided that I couldn’t give up the big screen. I’ll use my iPad when I need to be more mobile.
