I am so not tech savvy. I just replaced my desktop because it had Windows XP. Big learning curve to go to Windows 8. Then my computer had an hardware issue and I had to ship it back to Gateway. It was gone longer than I had it. And when it came back I had to set it up all over again. So annoying, they are a necessary evil.
Being the very tech savvy person I am, having gotten my 1st PC early ’90s, I bravely bought my first MacBook Pro last April.
My main software runs in Windows so I had a double learning curve using the new Mac with Parallels.
I love my Mac & don’t see how I ever lived with out one. Still the learning curve was definitely there. Here’s a source that’s really helped me learn how to operate the new OS. https://www.youtube.com/user/TechTalkAmerica/videos?view=0&sort=dd&shelf_id=1
Lots of video tutorials.
Yes, all things, both good & bad pass…So enjoy your trip around the curve.
My new printer is now set up, and I’m finally coming around the bend. Thanks, Rebecca.

I’ve had macs for 20 years, and I’ve find them extremely reliable. After some glitches, I’m on my way!
