When Mad Men debuted in 2007 with these gorgeous opening credits, I was an instant fan. Online, I watched the title sequence again and again, even showing it to a web designer as inspiration for First Person Singular. It was with a heavy heart that I viewed the finale. But I made a celebration of it, inviting friends over for dinner of Pot au Feu [1] and chocolate. I’ve already rewatched the final episode, and I’m comforted the show will live on in digital perpetuity.
