8 years ago, when I moved into my current home, I unpacked all the boxes in 24 hours. I was obsessed with getting everything put away, and didn’t give myself time to make thoughtful decisions about where things should go (particularly in the kitchen). What’s amazing to me, 8 years later, is that I made pretty good choices in the heat of the moment.
