How are you holding up?

Seriously. I want to know.

I’m hoping that Christmas will be better than Thanksgiving where I was sat at the kid’s table and felt completely ostracized for not having a partner, not included in conversations, and not invited to future planned “couple” events that were discussed right in front of me. Right after Christmas I’m going on a silent spiritual retreat in the mountains where I’ll be doing yoga and meditating and generally seeking refuge from the stresses of daily life. Glad to be leaving this year behind.

I often end up at the kids table, too. A familiar story all around.

Thanks for this, Wendy. I feel NYE heaviness especially this year. The quandry of wanting plans, of having none –friends away or have dates — and not wanting to go be solo somewhere amid the midnight smooching. Sigh.

Still, DELIGHTED about your interview and can’t wait to see you on TV. Way to go, Wendy!!

Good to hear from you, Ehm. I’m sorry that you feel NYE heaviness. I took a yoga class this morning and it really helped. Here’s to a great 2020 together.
