I remember picking up an astonishing children’s book by Jules Feiffer about a kid who gets kicked out of his parent’s car and then decides to live in a hole in the ground — if memory serves. It seemed like real children’s book — the kind that I could have used as a kid, but that no parent would ever give their child. It’s okay, we had a copy of Grimm’s fairytales lying around and that helped.

This cartoon reminds me that it’s the little choices we make that really matter; how we deal with and cope with our day-to-day routines and struggles. My best friend from college is married with three children and we each have difficult lives — just in different ways. Bloom where you’re planted.

Hi there! Great-looking site; will check out more. This is a very COOL cartoon! Somtimes, I hear VERY smart/interesting young ladies saying that they want to get married b/c they are fed up w/ their studies, work, parents, or routine. But these are NOT good reasons to get married!
