Talk About a Dry Spell
Tim Gunn, the charming mentor of Project Runway, recently admitted that he hasn’t had sex in 29 years. Wow. That makes me feel so much better right now. I’ve had my share of sex droughts, and strategized how to get through them. But this is a whole other category. Gunn seemed quite chipper about it. Do you think money and fame make it easier to be celibate?

I think they both do! How the rich and/or famous are ever able to relax and trust enough to be truly intimate with another person I can’t imagine. And look how much private information manages to find its way into the media long after close working relationships, marriages, etc. have ended. Almost makes me feel sorry for those wealthy celebs …
I just happened by your site. I was without sex and/or partner for 10 years; now for a year and going. I’m not sure how old you are but don’t fret. I’m probably more out there than you are and I’m fine; no matter the life situation. BE HAPPY, do it for yourself. Anything you do is alright if it is right for you. I have noticed that most of these happy single sites are by women. I’m a man, but I think that is interesting to note. Ah, the demands of society. Fuck society. No offense intended; just shout of defiance. Again, be happy. Many people will be jealous for that reason alone. Go get’m girl. 🙂
