I’m going to put an offer in on a townhouse that is a step up from the lousy old condo that I bought too quickly after I separated from my husband. My financial advisor says I can definitely afford it but it terrifies me nonetheless.
She’s also trying to convince me that I probably won’t be alone for the rest of my life. Part of me wanted to ask her, “Why would being alone be a bad thing?” I value my space and freedom; if anyone else does come into my life, they’ll have to respect this.
Great blog, I always enjoy your posts. I’m so happy to have found you.
It’s good to meet you Kathy. Thanks for weighing in. I wonder if your financial advisor understands the difference between being single and being alone.
