Hard to say, since a time frame isn’t mentioned in the question – how many times do I check myself out in a day? a week? an hour?
To be honest, I’ve been checking myself out many, many times every day lately, but it’s only because I’ve been losing weight, and it’s been at least 20 years since I’ve weighed what I weigh now, and I’ve been amazing myself with my own transformation, :-). When I’m not in a weight-loss mode, it’s usually much less frequently, only a couple of times a day.
I don’t check myself out that often, but people look at me very strangely because of WHAT I use for a mirror. I am pale, pale, pale, and I often use my time on the Metro to slap on another layer of sunscreen before extended sun exposure or after I’ve been sweating a bit (for example, before and after softball games), and use the window as a mirror to make sure there are no big blobs of sunscreen on my face/neck/ears. That’s not THAT weird, right?
lately not much. last weekend a stranger on the street said something awful about my appearance at a time when I was feeling confident, and I’ve been avoiding the mirror since.

It’s great that you like who looks back at you!

Glad you’re using sunscreen. It sounds resourceful.

Banish that stranger. Stay on the path of your inner truth and confidence.
