Putting Your Best Foot Forward

When I put on a pair of shoes that I love, it can tip my whole outfit. My posture is lifted and so is my attitude. And conversely, with a bad hair day (like today), no accessory can make it work. What’s the bottom line for what makes you feel put together? (Clothing optional.)

    Painted fingers and toes!

Earrings! I feel so naked without them. Since I wear scrubs all day, they allow me some outlet for self-expression.

SM, do you change it up, or wear the same earrings every day?

Earrings for me, too. I have very short hair and for some reason feel too boyish without them.
In summer I’m involved in sport so I stick to simple hoops during the week, but I switch it up on nights out, weekends, and during winter.

My earring collection is limited but important, and with the exception of ballet class, I hardly go without them.

Good hair! And that’s a bit of a random thing, unfortunately. And glowing skin (doesn’t always happen)–no too oily, not too dry, not too “made up” looking. I can pull off ANY outfit then!

Lipliner and lipstick – makes all the difference!

When the hair is right, I’m ready for anything. Oh, and the red heels
    are always a boost.

Wendy, I definitely change them up! Depending on my mood, sometimes it’s pearls, or colors, or simply just small studs. It’s fun and a great way for self-expression!
