LOVE the tote bag. Yeah, I was on my soap box yesterday to every woman I know to vote. Doesn’t matter who you vote for…just VOTE. After watching Iron Jawed Angels a few years ago, I will never let a voting opportunity pass me by. It’s my right and a privilege. I’m proud to be an American and a woman…so why wouldn’t I exercise my right to vote? After all…I can’t let Alice Paul down, right?!
A few years ago, I watched Ken Burns documentary on Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony. I wept at these inspiring warriors who paved the way for all of us.
Iron Jawed Angels was a great film. So many people/women don’t know what they went through to just get the right to vote.
Whenever I get frustrated with the pace of the political work I’m doing, I remember that it took 75 years for women to get the right to vote. It’s so humbling and a powerful reminder that change takes time.
