Love a martini but caffeine is my major fix. Both black tea and coffee. They both straighten my spine, align my chakras and focus my brain. All of which I need on a daily basis. I’m a junkie for the clarity.
Well, I only started taking yoga up again about three weeks ago, after a twelve year absence. I’m not where I used to be by any stretch of the imagination (pun intended), but I’ll get there. There’s nothing like yoga to force you to focus on the now, not the past, not the future.
Ice cream. Preferably Ben & Jerry’s, Hagen Daaz, or something from Cold Stone (I’m all about the premium ice cream). Too bad my waistline won’t allow me to have it all day, all the time.

From everything I read, some caffeine is good for you. Drink on.
I seem to be addicted to Spry and PUR chewing gum they are sugar free and taste great.
Chewing seems to release some sort of stress…
During a particularly stressful time, my jaw got really tight, and my dentist told me to chew gum. It really helped.
Coffee, tea, wine and now yoga. The yoga, coffee and tea I do everyday. I save the wine for the weekends.
Yoga everyday? You must be very flexible.

Ouma Rusks from South Africa to dunk in my tea:

Sounds exotic. What is that, exactly?

My father ate ice cream EVERY night. And he lived until a ripe old age. He’s my role model.
Books. Yarn. Anything to occupy my hands or to help me escape reality for awhile.
Knitting is a particularly useful hobby, because at some point, you get cool things to wear.
Coffee. Tennis–can’t play every day but it sure makes the days I do play much better.
And it’s spring. Perfect time for tennis.
Peace and quiet, usually in that order, when life feels chaotic. Also, music that suits the mood (or puts me in a better mood).
Living in the city, it’s hard to find peace and quiet. But my home is tranquil, and that really helps.
