Be Kind Even When Your Flight is Delayed

Lisa CongdonTwice in the last 24 hours I got on a plane, and twice my flight was delayed for longer than the actual flying time. What impressed me most was how calm my fellow travelers were. This is the true test of practicing kindness. (I’m still working on it.)

Your fellow travelers sound like they adhere to my flying mantra, “there is nothing in an airport/plane that cannot be fixed with booze.” I am the chillest flyer anyone has ever met, but, despite the thousands of hours I have spent in airports and planes (a number of those in delays), very few of them have been stone-cold sober. 🙂

I hear you. But it’s a little hard for me to drink at 8 AM. Although I suppose that’s cocktail hour somewhere in the world.

Hahaha! JoDa, it sounds like we have the same travel strategies. Cheers!
