HBO’s statement about James Gandolfini’s death: “He was special man, a great talent, but more importantly a gentle and loving person who treated everyone no matter their title or position with equal respect.” I miss him, already.

What a shock. So young. My heart goes out to his family.
A huge loss. And how lucky we are that he graced our TV and movie screens.
A fellow Rutgers alum, Gandolfini was in my brother’s class (2 years after me). A huge booster of our alma-mater, anyone from the Rutgers family who came in contact with the guy said glowing things. Very sad.
It sounds like he was an amazing human being. That’s always nice to hear about a star.
