This week, I’ve been in San Francisco for meetings. At the end of a hectic day enjoying a martini with friends, I made the mistake of checking my phone and learned that my building was in the midst of a bedbug crisis. OMG. Terrifying emails were flying back and forth, and they were mostly in CAPS. Apparently one owner was crying. Maybe because I was hundreds of miles and 2 days away from home and really couldn’t do anything, I decided to stay calm, even though in the past that has never stopped me from worrying. Today, the exterminator inspected my apartment, and HALLELUJAH, I’ve been spared.

Amen to your Hallelujah! I’m impressed with your composure. Bedbugs are terrifying. So relieved that you and Rose are spared.
A few people in the building ended up throwing out their mattresses. I feel spared and I’m so grateful.
Amen indeed. Hope the extermination is successful for those who need it!
Yes, Kathy. I hope they’re gone forever!
