thanks! It’s fun to get a glimpse behind the scenes of the creative process. When my New Yorker comes in the mail I always go thru and read all the cartoons first. I love the ones that make me laugh out loud, as this one did at the time.
I sometimes think I should start a business of helping people organize … and/or get rid of extraneous stuff, another of my favorite pastimes.
Robert Mankoff, the cartoon editor has a regular blog in which he describes the creative process of cartoon writing. It’s always fascinating. As far as your organizing business, I’m sure it would be a hit.
I do not over-organize, but I laughed out loud at that cartoon.
I’m not an over-organizer either, but I appreciate people who are, and I’d love them to dive into my closet.
