Great picture!
I am not a gadget person, however I have a 4-yr old iPod touch that I use for music and basic email at home in the evening (my computer stays at work, usually). I took the Touch on vacation. I found myself reaching for it whenever I had a wi-fi connection – checking (personal) email and my favourite sites. After a couple days I had to stow it – it was becoming too much of a distraction. Things were better after that. I was the only single, childfree person in our group. The others felt they had to be tethered to the brood back home. I was grateful for my freedom.
I was just crossing Sunset Blvd, a very hectic street, and a guy was texting as he walked passed me. And I thought, really? Can’t it wait just a few more seconds.
