Well…most of the time I’m in a funk because I’m overly tired. So, going to bed early and getting a good nights sleep usually cures my funk. And chocolate.
Birdwatching. A walk in the woods. Any encounter with nature, even if it is just to pause and admire a beautiful flower or bush. To listen in the very early hours to the cacophony of birdsong. That never fails to lift my spirits, (and of course spending time cuddling my two rabbits.)

There’s nothing like a good night’s sleep and I wish I had more of them. Chocolate’s a lot easier to procure.
Several tried-and-true things: chocolate, reading my old journals, hot bubble bath. There’s more but these are pretty much guarantees!
Old journals, SM? I’m curious to hear more about how that relieves a funk for you.

Lovely.
