Un-fucking-believable. That was my first reaction to the grand jury’s decision.
It’s unbelievable and totally believable at the same time.
Totally believable, reprehensible and heartbreaking.
I’m hoping that this is a watershed moment and will lead to some real reform.
I hate to say it, but I’m not optimistic. The Rodney King trial and riots were 20 years ago, and this is how much progress we’ve made.
I still believe we’re moving forward, even when we stumble back.
