How to Cope with Jon Stewart Leaving The Daily Show

Jon Stewart

Watching Jon Stewart is a huge part of my weeknight routine. I settle in with dinner and a martini, and know that I’ll be in good hands. During those times when it has felt like the whole country was going insane, his humor and perspective could talk me off the ledge. It’s hard to imagine life being as sweet without his presence. I might need to get out more.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! This is one of three shows I actually watch and LOVE! Heartbreaking news. 🙁

I don’t watch the show regularly, but always enjoy it when I do. And I clearly remember his broadcast soon after 9/11. It was so comforting somehow.

I’ll particularly miss his analysis as we head into the 2016 election.

I was actually thinking I’m really going to check out of the 2016 election now. I was planning on getting my news about it from him. I know he can’t be replaced, but I’m hopeful that someone will step in that is at least entertaining to watch. So sad!

From what I’ve been reading, The Daily Show will live on. I’ve been watching Larry Wilmore’s “The Nightly Show,” and I think he’d be great.

I ♥ hime! He’s one of my celebrity crushes. I don’t watch the show regularly, as I only have basic cable, but I do look at the clips online.
