I’m drooling over the Apple Watch. Despite the naysayers, I’m sure this will be another game changer, transforming the way we communicate and access information. And it looks beautiful. We’ll all be sporting wearables soon enough. Are you intrigued?
Yes intrigued by it’s technology since I’m highly techie but won’t buy one for this reason. At 70, I can’t see the thing on the fly.
If I must dig for glasses I’d just as soon look at my Galaxy Note 4.
I like both the red and metallic. The proportions look great. But I’m also worried about being able to read emails, texts, calendar etc. It’s very small.
I saw a video with someone who had access to the watch, and she toggled so that the time filled up the entire screen. I’m imagining there’s some kind of option like that for reading other things as well.
Oooh, no. It’s just not for me. I love the beauty and simplicity of old-fashioned time pieces and only require my watch to be two things: functional and stylish. I’ve never even worn a digital watch. I couldn’t wear the internet on any part of my body. It’s too Orwellian. Plus, I’d probably never sleep again because I wouldn’t be able to stop looking at it.

I just love the way it looks. I’m curious to see the watches up close and in person.
They are more attractive than I anticipated. I like the red one!
I’m leaning towards the metallic band. I’ll have to wait to see them in the Apple stores next month.

I predict, Leyla, that we will all be impacted by these new products called “wearables.”
I agree with Leyla, especially about the Orwellian aspect.
Plus, to quote the late, great Robin Williams: “That’s a lovely pin. You can either wear that pin or feed Thailand.”
I understand your point, Len. But I do take pleasure in beautiful design and astonishing technology.
