Meet the New Host of The Daily Show
In December, when I first watched Trevor Noah making this debut on The Daily Show, I was floored with how good he was. Relaxed, poised, funny, handsome. Today, reading the news that he will be replacing Jon Stewart, I got a little choked up. I will miss Stewart, terribly. He is so embedded in my nightly route. But I’m excited about the possibilities. Well done, Comedy Central.

Totally agree. Most difficult act to follow, really nearly impossible but I like this new direction. Tons of potential! Also, love he’s not one more white man.
Amazing what 24 hours will bring. Suddenly he’s a pariah. The internet is up to no good.
Again mostly agree. His old jokes are terrible, sloppy and way below The Daily Show’s current standard. Disappointing, hope Trevor can redeem himself. Makes John Stewart look even more untouchable.
I’m definitely willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. For now.
