Holding on to the Light
I’m beginning to notice that the light is fading earlier in the evening. It was 99 degrees in my neighborhood today, but summer seems like it’s slipping away. Turn, turn, turn.

We’ve had some unseasonably cool weather here on the east coast. Last night it was in the 60’s! Made me wonder if we’re on the cusp of fall…I’m not ready!! I haven’t been to the beach yet and have hardly had time to sit at my pool or use my flipflops.
7:30 pm and it’s 97. Me and the dog are trying to stay hydrated.
Very cool summer here–and extremely wet until about mid-to-late July. But it’s also almost time for the semester to start and that always gets me thinking about fall (my favorite season). I’m looking forward to boots and sweaters. And, foodwise, pumpkins and apples.
Love boots and sweaters. One of the best things about cooler weather.
