After hearing predictions about El Niño for months in California, we’ve finally gotten our first taste, with 2 days of near nonstop rain. (There’s a break right now, and I hurried to get in a dog walk.) My dog is freaking out, but so far, most humans I’ve encountered in Los Angeles are appreciating the weather. I’m very grateful there’s nothing leaking, no floods or mudslides near me. My only gripe is the newly-broken zipper on my raincoat.

Its finally cold here in the Northeast (30s)seasonally appropriate. Even a dusting of snow. That is really all I need. If I don’t have to shovel or use the snow blower I’m cool with it.
I haven’t seen snow in a long time. I have to say, I don’t really miss it.
I love that painting! Beautiful.
Finally cold here, northeast too, just some frost on the windshield and rain. Lots of dark, foggy days, but not really cold and no snow. I actually like dark, foggy, rainy days. I find them restful and comforting, quiet and calm.
As long as you can stay warm, dry and cozy inside.
