I was strolling through a mid-week Farmer’s Market today, and though there were peaches on display, it was the crisp Fuji apples that attracted my taste buds. I’ve gorged on tomatoes and melons this summer, and I’m looking forward to the seasonal shift. What fall flavors are you craving?

Pomegranates will be back in season soon!
The most beautiful fruit!
Today I think I’ll try my first attempt at pumpkin bread! Also last night eating out I had a tomato/pesto soup and it got me to thinking about soups, which I tend to start making this time of year and into winter. This soup was excellent and is something that I want to attempt to make myself.
Let us know how it goes…
Apples, especially the lesser known varieties. Winter squashes. But especially apples.
Oh, and Manhattans. They just don’t appeal to me when the weather is warm. In summer, I’m more of a gin and tonic or sparkling wine kind of girl.
It’s 100 degrees in L.A. Gin and tonic weather.
