The first 2 days that I was in Boston in was hovering around 80. It started to cool off the night before I left. Only a few trees were starting to turn.
Hope it’s lovely. I grew up and lived most my life in a subtropical climate on the south Atlantic where winter is a week in February when you dig out the one pair of gloves you own. After three years near the foothills of the Appalachian mountains, now being back at home, I miss the seasons a lot. I need to make leaf – peeping trip plans.
I live about 10 miles south of Boston. I think its going to be in the 60’s all week which is perfect autumn weather. The leaves are just beginning to turn hopefully you’ll have a relaxing glimpse of a New England fall. Take a nice walk at the Boston Gardens – that will not disappoint.
My brother recently got a place in Back Bay, and it’s such a great neighborhood. He’s an excellent tour guide, and took me on walks throughout the city. We also sampled delicious food.
hope you get some fall weather–I think that is what I miss the most about my recent relocation from the PNW to the south.

Enjoy your visit! Hope you get to see some autumnal scenery out there.
Boston is such a beautiful city. We walked and walked and walked. I had the best time.

I have gloves buried in a drawer, and they make an appearance a couple of times of year. Right now the AC is blasting as we’ve reached triple digits.
