What really gets me, on a personal level, is that I’ve been bullied for so much of my life (high school and work), and now the biggest bully in the country will be in charge.

I like Keillor’s perspective, but I hope he isn’t being overly optimistic. Right now, Republicans excited to get to work with Trump.

(Click on the blue page numbers to see the actual pages from the book. If you haven’t read it, I highly recommend it. Alan Moore wrote it in response to Thatcher’s rule at the time.)
Going back to bullying, one more thing came to mind—another Vonnegut quote: “True terror is to wake up one morning and discover that your high school class is running the country.” Boy, howdy!
Just read that Trump is back on Twitter, complaining about protestors. This is insane.
And I just saw on TV that the Russians have admitted they were communicating with the Trump campaign the whole time. Shouldn’t that be an impeachable offense?
This is a time that we’ll really need an investigative free press.
