Regular FPS readers know that every evening before dinner, I take a couple of minutes for gratitude. I survey my day, and think about the folks who made it brighter. My brother, my dog, and you dear readers always make the cut.

i heard the comments section wasn’t working. This is a test.
Helping out Wendy and testing again…
Thanks, Lola. It looks like the Comments section is working again. Just in time for Valentines Day. Thanks for alerting me to the problem.
No problem Wendy, glad it’s up and running. I’m know I’m not the only one of this community that was hoping to come to FPS today for some positive vibes and light!
You saved us!
My niece, my nephew, and my bunny rabbit.
The trifecta.
My kitty always makes my list!
Today on my gratitude list as well is the parking garage attendant on staff at my office bldg in the AM. He always greets me with such a cheerful smile and wave, and it makes me a little warm in my heart to smile and wave back, even on mornings that I know I’m looking at a long/rough work day. The other thing is…I always get this feeling that it’s JUST FOR ME! Not in a selfish way, but he really does seem so sincere. I hope he passes on the good vibe to every other person that drives through in the morning.
This morning in particular he was standing outside with a bucket of roses, giving one to each driver coming in. So today, I just can’t complain…I’ve got a beautiful pink rose sitting on my desk on Valentines day 🙂
I love your parking garage attendant. That’s the sweetest story.
I’m grateful for thunderstorms early this morning, my two sweet (currently sleeping) kitties, and the bath with Epsom salts and lavender I’m going to take later!
And I’m grateful as well to you, Wendy, for creating this lovely site and community. It really is so nice knowing there are other people out there like me, leading content, fulfilling, single lives. At times when the world has made me feel like there is something wrong with being on my own, this site has been proved a much-needed source of feeling understood. Plus, I love the art you post!
Enjoy your bath and the kitties. Have a great night.
My sister, my Indy crew (a group of female friends–we met through a meetup and have become wonderful friends), my favorite cheesemakers.
Is “Indy Crew” an official name for the group.
No,but it should be!
Have you considered t-shirts?
